Lake City, Awesome!

The Tigers of Stewartville had a great night in Lake City with many personal bests being achieved from all levels.  The girls varsity took the Pie by winning the meet by only 2 points over Lake City.  I don't recall a time when we've done that in the past.  Well done Ladies!!

Quick update, next week there is NO Blooming Prairie meet.  The next weekday meet will be Chatfield on October 6th.

Homecoming parade, lineup at 5:00 tomorrow and starts at 5:30.  We will be walking in the parade and then reporting to the concession stand.  Hope to see you there!

This Week's Events

A big "Thank you!" to the Feine's and all their helpers for hosting the team to their place for supper on Friday night.  It was a great workout for the kids on the hilly road and then a nice end to the week with supper waiting.  We all appreciate your efforts!

Another busy week coming up with a meet in Lake City on Tuesday; Gimme Some of that Day for that meet with "veteran runners" providing the food. Examples of things to bring would include cheese sticks, crackers, veggies and dip, apples, bars, cookies, sausage, juice box or whatever you come up with.  It is nice to get a variety and not have all sweets.  :D

Click on Lake City for the informational sheet for Tuesday's meet.

On Friday three vehicles will transport 9th - 12th grade athletes to Plainview to run the football back for the pepfest in the afternoon.  Thank you to Mrs. Simmons for joining Coach Ihrke and I in this effort.  Deputy Jason Owen will also be along following behind runners on the road with lights flashing for safety.

Go Tigers!
