Good Meeting!

Runners!, thanks for coming to the meeting this a.m.   At present there are 30 on the sign-up sheet.  Only 5 boys!  I know of a couple that may also be coming, but it would be great to get more boys to fill out the team! Do your part in recruiting your friends to give CC a try.

Please don't lose your sheets of paper for summer running and weight training.  Someone asked, do we need to log both time and distance.  If you know both, enter both for your own benefit.  Then you can keep track of speed progress over time.

Remember, 73 days of training until the start of the season!

Go Tigers!

How do I carry my device while running?

You may have the app but don't want to carry your device while running.  Check out this site to create your own holder for free, if you've got a tube sock!

Keep us updated!

Runners,

Please keep the coaches and your teammates updated on your summer running progress.  This helps motivate everyone to know that it's happening and people are getting it done!  You don't want to be left behind.  Remember, you want to log 150 miles (girls) or 200 miles (boys) before the start of the season.

Share your running progress as it happens in a comment on this page.

Apps, Apps, and More Apps!

Runners!

There are many ways that you can enjoy your runs this summer.

If you have a smartphone or other gadget, check into an app that keeps track of your mileage, route, pace and more.  Mapmyrun.com is a great resource.  Strava.com and the Joyn.me app (for apple users) to make "dates" with your friends to go running.  No excuse to run alone, unless you want to!
