Thinking ahead to the 9.9 meet in Decorah, IA, 9.14 at Mayo (Eastwood Golf Course) and 9.23 in St. Paul at the U of M golf course, I am attaching links to each meet so that you can see race times as well as other information as needed.

Just a reminder, this week, Friday we have a 10:00 a.m. practice til roughly noon, and Monday, Labor day, 3:30 to 5:15 or so.

Thanks to the Husgen Family for hosting another wonderful pasta dinner and games for the team @ their home! We had a great time and were WELL fed!
This week is a busy week with the start of school, first meet (home) and first concession stand on Friday. Lots to be done. Mr. and Mrs. Orvis are doing a great job to keep you all up to speed on signing up for a slot to work at the home meet and concessions. We appreciate your willingness and hope you enjoy the camaraderie with the CC family!
Practices will run from 3:10 to 5:15 and we will meet outside the PAC near the tables.

We always order t-shirts for the home invite for the athletes and family members have the opportunity to order those at cost. Mr. Orvis has taken care of that already. In addition, we are looking at a hoodie or a 1/4 zip pullover for the athletes. These will be available to family members as well at approximately $30. We are working on ordering 1 for the athlete (or perhaps putting $30 toward the order) for each athlete and Mr. Orvis will be asking for sizes and choices to get that rolling. If you'd like to order the other at cost, you may do so. Watch for more information on that.
Keep your kids healthy by enforcing reasonable bedtimes, nutritious meals and good hydration! Thank you for that!

Let the Season Begin!
Runners, we will be meeting at 3 p.m. inside the high school doors beginning tomorrow afternoon. Reminder that on Tuesday, we will be meeting at 9:20 a.m. to load the bus, departing at 9:30 a.m. for Lanesboro and tubing. Wear clothing for a running workout (swimsuits underneath, perhaps), before we have pizza and then tubing. Bring a towel, sunscreen, water shoes (old running shoes), water bottle (although water and gatorade are also provided for lunch). We will head to the Little River General Store for the rentals and walk our tubes to the river. It will take about 3 hours on the river and the school bus will meet us at the end of the run for our trip home. We should arrive home approximately 4 p.m.
You will need the SIGNED PERMISSION SLIP in order to participate!! Please bring it with you tomorrow for practice if possible, otherwise Tuesday. It was sent via email last week. It is also available by clicking here.

Wear your suits but also shorts and a shirt to put over and running shoes/socks for the running portion. We will need bikes for groups of 2 so be considering if you have a bike you can bring. Parents can pick you up at the pool shortly after 5 p.m.
Our other scheduled pool practice will be on Wednesday, August 21st. We will meet at the pool at 3:30! Parents can pickup shortly after 5 p.m. at the pool.
